Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Professional Master and Postgraduate Diploma programmes in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) for the 2026/2027 academic session. The sale of forms is open from 09 March 2026 and closes on 25 May 2026.

The Master in Integrated Water Resources Management (MIWRM) is intended for the production of highly skilled professionals for the public, private, and international organizations, as well as for teaching and research in tertiary institutions and for global competitiveness. The programme also accords the candidates the opportunity to apply recent technological developments to the solution of emerging integrated water resources management problems.

It is general knowledge that the water-related challenges facing the world and the south Saharan African region in particular require an integrated water resources management approach. These highly structured and coordinated programmes therefore focus on building capacity of professionals in the water sector on the principle and applications of IWRM to ensure overall sustainability of the entire water resources in the country. It is also to create awareness on IWRM and provide water education for sustainable livelihood.

The IWRM programmes cover courses and deliverables that are in line with the Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards (BMAS) of NUC and have potentials for enriching the local and regional professionals working in the area of water resources management with the required academic and technical skills and capabilities. Both the PGD and Master are Part-time weekend programmes structured in modular format.

Application forms are to be purchased from the Directorate of Linkages and Collaboration, NDA old site, Kaduna or the Training Department, National Water Resources Institute, Mando Kaduna. The application fee is Twenty Thousand Naira (₦20,000).

Completed application forms and photocopies of Credentials, Acknowledgement Form, Referee Form, Application for Transcripts Form and Medical Report Form, should be submitted to the Directorate of Linkages and Collaboration, NDA old site, Kaduna or the Training Department, National Water Resources Institute, Mando Kaduna.
